So seriously that’s my name. I was the original Sasha before some of your faves lol! The story goes… My dad was going to name me Sapphire, but my mom who was reading a book based in Russia while in labor, was mortified at the idea of me being named after the precious gem. She decided that day I would be named after one of the characters in the book. With its meaning “Defender of Mankind,” it should come as no surprise that having such a powerful name comes with a very powerful responsibility. I created the blog and podcast, centered around my lived experiences and various journeys through life. Here you will find content about mental health, motherhood, love, food, business, and travel centered on obstacles I’ve overcame, finding my identity, living in my passion, and discovering joy while healing.
